Techniques
The histories of mankind are dotted with information about communication with enlightened beings. Most religions are founded on such beliefs. Even in todays society there are those including ministers, mediums, children, adults, the crazy and the sane, who claim contact with something from another realm of existence. Ghosts, spirits, angels, just a few of the labels that are being used.
Is it true? Is it real? To answer that question you would have to open your mind and find out for yourself. For many thousands of people it is very true and very real. For many thousands of people it can be explained away or ruled out as being from some earthly source. I find both groups of people often point fingers and call the other group crazy for having thier belief or non belief in the existence of such things. I have no plans on trying to convince any of you. You either will or wont try it and find out for yourself. You either will or wont believe. I honestly cant help you with that choice you have to make it for yourself. I can only share some of what I learn and some of what I see and hear to help educate those who want to know more or are just curious.
EVP
Water TechniqueFor most experiments in the past I simply record while water is running in my fish tank for background sound. Then that gets sent thru the p1 filter for clear voice denoiser and is analyzed using audacity. See Software.
EVPmaker
EVPmaker is a nifty tool created by Stefan Bion. It takes a sound file and chops it into bits. When used as a background sound I have had some remarkable results come thru that were not in the original sound files used.
Sweep Tuning Radio
This is a new method I am testing. Based on Frank Sumption and Retro Dave's idea to upgrade Frank's Box. For this method I just used a radio that has a dial on it and tuned it to AM. Once it was on AM I simply rapidly move the dial back and forth across the whole band until I hear my name then tune in between stations. This method is proving to be agreeable to most who use it and the results are some of the clearest we have ever had. You must move the dial fast enough to not lock onto any station that may be broadcasting, and you should notice that voices will follow you across the whole band, some even maintain thier "voice" quality. I have gotten very clear human like voices as well as electronic sounding voices which were also clear. The sound files are crisp and clear and they use my name to get my attention. The resulting sound file recordings need no filtering or adjustments made other than to listen to them in forward and reverse in segments and occasionally slow down the ones who talk to fast. This may be what we have been waiting for.

ITC
Feedback Loop MethodThis is basically aiming your cam directly at the screen which is playing what is being recorded as you record it. This creates a looping effect and you will begin to see bright flashes of light or a sort of strobe effect come in play. Viewing the frame by frame you often will find images in these flashes of light. This method is well described on the net, even video how to's are out there. I may post a link later for that under links section.
TV METHOD
Think of light as a palette of colors. White light contains all colors, darkness provides contrast. Using raw video footage of something such as scenery...plants, trees, rocks, sand, sky, sunlight, water...anything with NO PEOPLE NO FACES. Then focus your webcam (or other) on the screen. I usually aim for the corners for frame of reference to start. Hold the cam about 1-2 inches away from the screen and swing it slightly back and forth/up and down. Just enough to cause a slight blur. Ask them to use the light to show themselves. Record and view frame by frame.
ITC Crystal Method
I'm using a rose quartz crystal. Focus on the crystal...again about 1-2 inches away. Using a light source such as a maglite flashlight I aim the flashlight on the crystal for a minute to allow it to absorb the light then swing the light over the crystal to create a sort of strobe effect. With this method you will usually be able to sit and watch as they appear rather than have to wait for the frame by frame. In fact the video contains much more detail than any one frame could. You will see the crystal suddenly light up almost as if a tv is turning on and images begin to take shape, sometimes they move or turn to face you. Redub Method
Record video yourself of anyplace that has NO PEOPLE NO FACES. Play video. Re-record video off screen. Repeat process until you give up or have success
