There many programs that people find useful in analyzing the sounds they record. I will list a few I have had success with just to get you started.
Clear Voice Denoiser This is a great program. The demo gives you 30 second which is good enough for most evp. I wanted to support the program so I decided to buy the full version.

EVPMaker Stefan Bion has a few unique programs and lucky for us has been working on translating things into English for us.
UCL Enhance This is an interesting project software in development. It has a few errors but was successful in enhancing several different evp voices. If prefer Clear Voice but it reacts differently than this program. I look forward to future updates of UCL Enhance if there are any.
Sport Video Player Adds frame-by-frame forward and reverse play as well as slow motion play capabilities to the Windows Media Player
